Spells That Work
What separates a spell that works from one that doesn't? It's a fair question, especially if you've tried magic before without seeing results—or if you're considering hiring someone to cast a spell for you.
The short answer: energy and intention. A spell works when the right energy is gathered and directed with clear, focused intention. Everything else—the candles, the words, the timing—supports that core process but doesn't replace it.
If you're casting spells yourself, the most effective approach is experimentation. What works for one person may not work for another. Some people connect better through visualization, others through spoken words, others through movement or physical objects. Pay attention to what puts you in the right state—that focused, slightly altered awareness where magic happens—and build your practice around that.
If you're hiring a spellcaster, the key is understanding their approach. For a love spell, for example, the practitioner needs to genuinely connect with and channel the energy of love—not just go through motions. The quality of the energy matters more than the elaborateness of the ritual.
A few signs that a spell is likely to work: the practitioner can clearly explain what they do and why, they're honest about what magic can and can't accomplish, and they don't rely on fear tactics or pressure. Trust your instincts. If something feels off, it probably is.
Magic is real, but not everything marketed as magic is genuine. Take your time, ask questions, and don't be afraid to walk away if the answers don't satisfy you.
